March

I was able to attend Emma's baptism. It was such a special day! Emma is such a sweet, lovable girl and I can't believe she is already 8! We went to the Bundy's after for a brunch and Lindsey really outdid herself, as always. Everything looked so cute and the food was delicious. And, I feel like a shrimp around my 'little' brother.
Brad got back from Texas just in time to go to our nephew, Carter's baby blessing. The Williams came up from St. George so it was fun to see them and baby Coralyn as well.
We celebrated Brad's birthday a little late since he was gone for his actual birthday. We had a little party on Sunday night with my family and the Bundy's. We had dinner, played a few games (including tape on the nose game pictured on the bottom right), opened presents and had cake. Happy 27th to my best friend!
So since Brad turned 27 on the 27th, that meant it was his golden birthday. I decided to have a party for him at my parents house with all of his friends. Luckily it was pretty easy preparation since Kylee had left me all of her stuff from Brody's golden party. We played 'who knows Brad best' (Derrick won), had dinner and took photo booth pictures.

Mariana, one of my good friends from High School, got married to her High School sweetheart. She looked so beautiful and I am so happy I was able to go to her reception.

My mom tended Lydia for a few days, so I went over a few times to help out and play with her. On Sunday, we went to my Grandparents for dinner, and I was also tending the Hess' for the weekend so all the kids enjoyed playing together. We celebrated Cam, Teresa and Grandpa's birthday's that are this month.

My mom and I went to St. George for Cam's baseball tournament while Brad was on another preseason trip. Turns out Cam hurt his back and he found out the day we were supposed to leave that he wouldn't be able to play in any of his games. We figured we would still go, for a fun little get-away. While we were there, we went to the beautiful St. George temple, went on an awesome hike to Angels Landing, did some shopping, went out to eat several times, watched home videos, explored the city and went to a few of Cam's games even though he didn't play. It was such a fun little trip and I loved spending some one-on-one time with my mom.

We had another golden birthday! Cam turned 18 on the 18th. My mom had a fun little party for him and invited several family members. The Hess kids even got in on the action while I was helping my mom set up before the party while I was nannying.
We forgot about the photo booth stuff until the Bundy's were about to leave and everybody else had already left.

We went on a fun little trip to Wyoming with our friends Karen and Sam. Sam grew up in Wyoming so he knows all the in's and out's. We stayed with his adoptive Grandma, Sandy, who was seriously the sweetest lady ever! We got there late Friday night and left Sunday morning, so we were really only there for a day. On Saturday, we went to the Hill Climbs, got some lunch, and then went back-country skiing. I had never done anything like that before, so I was a little scared.. but it was fun and I'm glad I did it. Then Sandy took us all out to dinner along with Sam's brother and his friend. It was a fun little trip and I am glad we were able to spend some time with Karen and Sam before they move to Alaska. (They are moving up there this summer for a few years and we are definitely planning on going to visit! ;))

Vivint had a little get together for all of the wives in Provo one Thursday afternoon. We had a yummy lunch and then played a few games to win some prizes. We played the 'I have never' game and Laurel was the very last person standing, so she won our table tents. They are pretty cool because all you have to do is throw it up and it pops open. This is such a fun group of wives and I can't wait to spend the summer with them! We have been getting together with them every Monday night for dinner and games at the Eliason's so we have gotten to know each other pretty well.

We went to the Bundy's for a delicious dinner one Sunday night. I love tending those twin boys.. they are so sweet! And, if you play Rook, you know how terrible that hand is- and that was AFTER I took the middle. Somehow, we didn't get set that round.. but we did manage to get set 5 times during that game! ha

What a fun month! Emma's baptism looks amazing, of course! All the other parties and get together's look fun as well. I'm dying to do angels landing, it looks soooo pretty! Your trip to Wyoming looks fun! I love when someone knows all the ins and outs. I'm glad there's good group of wives for you to hang out with this summer!

That pic of you holding the 2 babies is so cute. It just looks natural! You, of all people, were meant to have twins, and so that means it probably won't happen... what did Marianna have for refreshments at her reception? Fruit pizza? They look delicious. That pic of the 3 of you is darling. Can you drop box me the pics from St. George from the walk we went on after breakfast on Saturday? I can at least get them in my blog book, even though I didn't have them for my blog post. Jackson Hole looked like a lot of fun. I'm so impressed that you did back country skiing! That rook hand looks terrible! And that's AFTER the middle? Crazy. I'll never forget that night we set you guys 5 times in one game. Awesome.

Me oh my March was a busy month for you. Glad you got to get in on the family activities before you left. And what is with that photo of you and Cam? Are you standing in a hole? What the heck?! Thanks again for keeping Lydia while we went to Zion, we both benefited from you keeping her :) Both meaning me and Lydia, not you and me ;)
