Random

Not a lot has been going on in the Wheelwright household this past month.. which is why this is going to be a random post. My Aunt Jessica had her baby boy about 2 months ago so I got to see him when they came up for dinner. He is so tiny and cute! I love him. Brad was gone to Florida selling during our spring break so he has not been able to see him yet.

Speaking of Brad selling.. Our plans have changed. For those of you who don't know, APX alarm has changed it's name to Vivint. Originally our plan had been to go to Pensacola, Florida for the summer while he sells for vivint. Now we are going to Texas.  The team went to sell in Florida during spring break, and since they are so used to the Texas sell from being there for the past 3 years, they were not used to Florida and none did very well. So, everyone had a bad attitude and they decided to stick with Texas. At first I was really bummed. I was way excited to be on the beach in Florida for a whole summer, and when I heard the bad news and that we would probably be going to a city near Dallas, I was not too happy. But, plans changed again and now we are officially going to Houston/Galveston, Texas. I'm not sure if we will be living in Houston or Galveston, but either way.. I'm excited. Apparently I love the beach. ;) Our plans right now are to head to St. George with Brad's family as soon as I get done with my last final on Friday the 6th to visit his sister who lives down there. Then we'll take the 1,460 mile drive from there. As always, I'm sad to leave Logan for the summer. My family and my job that I love are here. But, it is only for a few months and this will be such a great adventure for us.

We've enjoyed going to my parents as much as we can to: watch our shows, play rook, ping pong, dinner, and much more. We're so glad they live close and let us come over so much! We've also enjoyed babysitting as much as possible. And the cooking is still going great! These are peanut butter bars and we may or may not have eaten them all in about 2 days.

I had Lindsey come over to help me redecorate my house. I was already sick of the look of it and needed something different. Lindsey is the one to call for when in need of this. She did such a great job and I love how it turned out. I can't wait to have her help me in our bedroom next!

We went skiing on the last day Beaver was open. It was sad, especially since I don't think we quite got our moneys worth from our ski passes. Maybe for next year we won't buy one, that way we won't feel like we have to go.. and we can go to a different resort if we want! It was a fun ski season though and I always love going with Brad. I love that we are about the same level.

Lydia spent a few nights at my parents house while her parents were out of town. She is such the cutest little girl and I love her so much. I was at my parents house any spare time I had. I love that her favorite movies are Mamma Mia and Phantom. These are some of my favorite pictures from her stay. We drove her to Ogden to drop her off to Ryan and then did the flow rider. Jake, Cam, his friend, Brad and I all had the one side to ourselves and it was so much fun. This was Brad's first time and he loved it. We may have gotten a few bumps and bruises, but it was all worth it!

Yesterday we went to Ogden to play some games with Brad's parents and little brother, do a little shopping and pick up a couch that Annie and Trace were so nice to give us. We were afraid that it would not fit down our stairs, since the last couch we got from my other Aunt, Stacie did not fit. But luckily, we barely fit it, after about the 3rd try of moving it different ways. Brad is such a trooper for pretty much doing it by himself. I did not feel like I was much of a help for him.
And I love the way it looks! We threw a red blanket over our other couch, and it just happens to match perfect! Thanks Ann and Trace!
And don't worry, we are not too sad to be getting rid of this beauty.
