Utah visit

I went home to Logan for about 10 days and this is how I spent most of my days...

But, the real reason I went home was because the Hess' flew me home to babysit them for a few days and it was a bonus that I got to see everyone else and spend so much time with my family. I flew in on Thursday night and my Grandma picked me up from the airport. My parents had left earlier that day to go to Colorado for the weekend to help my sister move so I went home to an empty house. Friday I spent the day babysitting for the Jenkins in the afternoon and the Hess' that night. Saturday night, I was able to hang out with the Bundy's. The girls had a lemonade stand and then we went to Olive Garden for dinner and to go look at the house they are moving into in Hyde Park. Then Sunday morning started my 5 day stay with the Hess'. I took them to church with me and then we drove out to Brigham City to see the Wheelwright's. We had dinner at Brooke and Elgin's and the kids enjoyed running around in the fields behind their house.

The Jenkin's wanted me to babysit them every morning from Monday-Thursday. Since I couldn't take the Hess' to daycare on Tuesday due to the 24th, I just brought them with me. So, this is what 6 kids under the age of 6 would look like. (Kalani was in the parade, other wise I would have had 7)
And this is what 2 sets of twins would look like.
We spent almost everyday swimming at the Hess' pool. My mom, brothers, Skeen's, Peterson boys, and Bundy's all came over on Tuesday and Wednesday and my Mom and her friend came on Thursday.
These 3 kids love the pool. Lucy and Charlie love to get in the water, but Ruby just loves to run around the pool in her swimming suit. Silly girl!
I also took the kids to my parents one night for dinner and to play for a bit. The girls loved this new swing that they got and Charlie cried when we had to leave.
My mom and I had a fun day on Friday, going for a drive, going to a movie and just hanging out together. We went to zumba on Saturday morning and then went to SLC with Cam to do some shopping. We stopped in Ogden on the way to help the Bundy's load up some stuff from their storage to take to their new house in Hyde Park and to get Zeppe's. After shopping, they dropped me off at the airport. I was so excited to get back and see Brad, but it was such a fun trip.
Side note: The first day I got there, my contact was blurry so I was washing it and as I was doing so, I accidentally ripped it with my fingernail . I didn't bring extra contacts since I had just changed them, so I had to wear my glasses the whole trip. Bummer!

Rain/Treats/Shower

I witnessed the biggest rainstorm of my life last week. There were huge puddles and rivers everywhere!  (You can see the puddle in the parking spot in this picture after it had been raining for about 10 min) And then they would drain so quick. I was impressed. It rained everyday, but Monday was probably the worst. The alarm even went off for a minute and we are not sure why! The power went out in everyone's apartment across the street from us and at HEB, the grocery store across the street. The thunder was so loud and the lightning would come right after.

On the one day that is was not raining last week, we made sure to get out of the house. We first went to the mall to ride the carousel with these cute kids.
Then we all went to Austin to go to Hey Cupcake. It is this cute little trailer that sells some pretty delicious cupcakes. However, $3 for a cupcake was a little much for me. I also got some shaved ice at the trailer next to it. It was fun to get out of the house and be with these girls

On the way home, these clouds looked so pretty!
We went to the best donut place on Saturday morning. Oh, they were so good, I already want to go back!
I helped plan a shower for one of the wives out here who is due in September with her first. It was camo/hunting theme so I made some s'mores bars and some green/brown treats. We decorated with lots of camo colors and it was a blast! We played a few games and all made her some burp cloths. Kiera is such a cute girl and it has been so fun having her around this summer. I am so excited for them and cannot wait for their little man to get here!

4th of July

The Sunday before the 4th, we all went to dinner at Rudy's and then to a park to play for a bit. While we were there, we saw a bunch of deer and they let us get way close to them. There were baby ones too that were so cute! We then headed to our church to do some fireworks. The guys bought a ton of them, and we enjoyed watching them.

On the morning of the forth, I went with the other wives and kids to a nearby parade. We got way too much candy, and the kids were super excited. But it was so unbelievably hot.. I don't know how the boys walk around everyday in that heat!
That night, the boys got off early, and Brad was home at about 5:30! It was so nice and different to have him home. We went with about 30 other people from the team to dinner in Austin at Shady Grove. Then we walked over to a park about a mile away to see the fireworks. It was so cool to have the skyline in the back.
