Pirates Cove

This summer, Brad's team won "The Cup" which means that they were the best in their division. They had competitions throughout the summer and ended up winning the championship. So, we got to go on an amazing little vacation to a magical place called Pirates Cove. It is located in Boulder City, Nevada. The family that started Nu Skin built this multi-million dollar oasis. Every little nook and cranny was Pirate themed which made it so much fun! There were 3 different pools. One of them had a big slide going into it, as well as a mast that you could jump off- the highest being 48 ft. Another pool was a kiddy pool with a small slide and the third pool was a play pool with basketball hoops. To rent out Pirates Cove for one night costs $15,000 so we are very grateful for the opportunity that we had to go. Pictures don't really do this place justice, so it was fun to see it in person. We got there on Wednesday night and stayed till Saturday morning. We basically just swam and relaxed all day, every day. It was the best vacation! Ps. Sorry for all the pictures, but this place was just too magical to not post any of these!
Poor quality photo- but this was taken the first night we got there and the place looked so cool at night, all lit up.

Our bedroom and bathroom

I'm not sure if we had enough snacks...
I love these two girlies!

Eating breakfast
The extra large teeter totter that Brad and I loved riding.

Jumping off the mast

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. ;)

Hot Tub

Free Ice-cream and slurpees 24/7. The best!

Brad and Nick playing basketball

We, unfortunately, saw two of these nasty things during our stay.

The boys watching the USU football game
All of the girls
On the way home, we got to stop by to see our friends Jake and Kiera in Beaver and meet their adorable boy, McGraw. We sure have missed them!

I feel like I've been there after seeing all these amazing photos! This place is incredible! I can't imagine a kind of life where that place is my second home and I just rent it out to people for $15,000 a night... hello- that's crazy. I'm so glad Brad and his team worked so hard so you guys could go there. Hopefully that will become a common theme in the future! Winning the cup. Is the reward always Pirates Cove? If so, maybe next time I could hide in your back seat?

Wow!! That place looks truly amazing! And it's just right in the middle of a huge desert.. crazy!! So did you all stay together in one big house? And did you end up going through all that candy?? I didn't appreciate the spider picture. And were you guys the only people there? I looks like a blast! I'm so glad you guys were able to do that!

Hello. Wow. This place is awesome. I've been there for a few days last October. Our friend rent off the whole place for his birthday. I didn't even know that this wonderful place is exist. I really want to rent it for my husband's anniversary in 2 years. I don't know if it's even possible because it's expensive. You pay $15000 per night for a whole place, don't you. Or you share the pool and other cool stuff with other renters?
