I'm so embarrassed that this post is so late. But Brad turned 25 on February 27!! The day before, we went to my parents for dinner, presents and games. Then on his actual birthday, I took him to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, and then home for a scavenger hunt. I sent him all around the house with clues and presents along the way. On each clue, there was a reason why I love him. There were 25 clues. All he wanted for his birthday was a Sunto Watch, so that's what he got. (He is wearing it in the second picture.) I also got him a few other little things, so it wouldn't be so boring.

Valentine's Day/Clue Party
VALENTINES DAY:
This year for Valentines day, we went out to eat at Firehouse. We actually went the day before since we wanted to join my family for a heart-shaped pizza and out for ice cream at Twizzleberry on Valentines day. But it was actually probably better that way, because it was not so crowded.
CLUE PARTY:
Our friends planned an awesome clue party last friday. I was Miss. Scarlet and Brad was Mr. Green. We had a little scavenger hunt around town looking for clues and then came back to use our clues to figure out who was the 'killer'. We played minute-to-win it games on our turn to get more clues. In the end, I was the killer... dun dun dun. I had to go outside and then they sprayed me with silly string. I wish I would have taken more pictures. It was a fun night.

I'm an Aunt! :)
Well, I'm sure this will not come as a surprise to any of you... if you know me at all. This post is going to be all about babies! :) I nanny 2 days a week for my old cheer coach who has a 5 year old girl, 3 year old boy and 4 month old twin boys. As you can imagine, I love every second of it. I've been doing it ever since the babies were born. One day I walked in to see them both sleeping in the exact same position. It made me laugh. I got to be with them on Valentine's Day and they looked so cute!

We still babysit the Hess' a lot. We babysat them for a whole week the beginning of February. The kids sure do love Brad, and love for him to spin them. Ruby is a 'daddy's' girl and Lucy's a 'mommy's' girl.

And last, but certainly not least.... I'M AN AUNT!!! I've been waiting for this day for a long time now and the day finally came early in the morning on February 11th. Poor Katie was in labor for about 17 hours. He weighed 7 lbs 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. I was sad that we could not be there the day he was born since we were babysitting the Hess', but we headed down the day after. He is just the cutest little thing ever. They named him Braxten Taylor Wheelwright.

December
We have had a lot of December activities this year, so I figured I should get caught up.
We had family pictures for my dad's side of the family and then dinner at the Call's after. The little kids made gingerbread houses, and I had fun playing with Dane the whole night. :)
We had a fun party at the Skeen's. We had an ugly lamp contest-- ours was the dusty one on the far right and the winner's was the Bundy's (the one with the pictures of them pulling ugly faces) We had fun playing the newlywed game, eating treats, and playing in the gym.
We had our first ski day the day after it opened. It was a bummer that the snow was crappy, but we still made it a fun day. Rikke came with us. She is one of their exchange students that Heather and Jordan have living with them.
We went the the Wheelwright's on Friday the 23rd and had our 'Christmas Eve'. We went caroling to the neighbors, ate a delicious dinner, had our traditional company party, and read a story. We also found out that Heather (Brad's sister) is pregnant. They have been trying for years, so we are super excited for them. Saturday we woke up and it was 'Christmas'! We opened presents, had breakfast, talked to Dallen on Skype (he's on his mission in Chille) and had a baby shower for Ben and Katie.
We headed straight to my Grandparents for an amazing Christmas Eve dinner and a white elephant game. Stacie made those cute penguin olives.
Love these darling girls!
I never thought I would enjoy having Christmas on a Sunday so much. We went to my parents Sacrament meeting and they had such a beautiful program. Then we came home to open presents and have a big breakfast. We went to my Grandparents for more presents, then came home and played some games including the history trivia, hide the pickle, and several others.
We had a girls day out in SLC on Tuesday to do some after Christmas shopping. It was fun to be with those girls, and I found some pretty good stuff.
We went to the temple with my parents and Kylee and then went bowling with the rest of my family that night.
We celebrated our 1 year anniversary! Brad surprised me and got us a room at the Anniversary Inn in Logan. Our room was the player's clubhouse. We enjoyed playing games, watching a movie and just being together. I can't believe it has already been a year, but it has been so great being married to Brad. I love him so much.
New Years Eve was packed with activities. After our stay at the Anniversary Inn, having breakfast in bed, and playing games, we went to Rumbi Island Grill for lunch. Then we went to 'We Bought a Zoo' with my family followed by a Thanksgiving dinner made by my mom (she wanted to make one since we were not here on Thanksgiving). We then headed out to Brooke and Elgin's for treats and to watch mission impossible 2. Their dog enjoyed sleeping right in-between us. :)
We had an amazing year and cannot wait to see what 2012 brings us!

Mexico!!
I know, I know... it's about time, right? Sorry to those of you who have already read my mom and sister's blog about our trip. Beware of a very long post with LOTS of pictures! :)
Wednesday:
We went on the most amazing vacation ever with my family to Mexico for a week over Thanksgiving. We left early on Wednesday morning and had an hour layover in Phoenix. We had fun playing some games as we waited. Then we had our long 5 hour flight to Cancun. Kylee and Brody had gone the day before so they picked us up and we drove about an hour south to a place called Akumal where we were staying. Our house we stayed at was right on the beach and we had the most beautiful sight from our front room (and our bedrooms). We didn't get there until it was almost dark, so we didn't have time to enjoy the scenery too much that night. We always ended the night with either some card games or some home movies.
Thursday:
We spent this whole day (Thanksgiving) at a park called Xel Ha. They had so many fun things to do including buffets, snorkeling, rope swings, mini zip lines, riding bikes, cliff jumping, and... one of my most favorite parts of the whole trip....
SWIMMING WITH DOLPHINS!!! I loved every second of it and it was worth every penny spent.
We also ended the night with a topic presentation. Before arriving in Mexico, everyone researched an interesting topic that they could teach everybody about, and then presented it one of the nights. It was a fun to learn about a lot of different things, and to do something different than normal.
Friday:
Friday was spent just having a relaxing day on the beach. We went into town to do a little shopping and then we came home to lay out, snorkel, swim, lay in the hammocks, and play some beach volleyball. We went to dinner that night at La Buena Vida (The Good Life). They have tree-houses that you can eat in, but unfortunately it was raining that night so we had to eat inside.
Saturday:
Xplor was our next park to attend. We had a blast at this place, even though I had a hurt foot and could not walk very well. (I think I got bit by something, who knows what though) They had over 2 miles of zip lines which was so much fun. We also enjoyed driving the Rhino jeeps, rafted and swam through some cool underground caves, and of course eating 2 more buffets.
Sunday:
We went to Turtle Beach to snorkel on Sunday. We saw three turtles, two sting rays and a few sword fish. Brad and I made a pretty sweet sand castle. Sadly, we got rained out after a few hours. We came home and get all ready to take some family pictures. Luckily, it had stopped raining, but it was not the blue skies we had been hoping for.

After pictures, we headed to Tulum to see the Mayan ruins. The water there was so pretty and bright blue.
Monday:
We had another relaxing day on the beach on Monday morning. Then we went to our last resort park, Xcaret, for a few hours. It was mainly just a zoo/aquarium so we did not spend all day there like we did the other two. It was cool to see a few animals that you wouldn't normally see and in such a beautiful setting. We also had our last delicious buffet. The baby turtles were my favorite!
Tuesday:
Tuesday was the saddest day of all. We had to pack up and say goodbye to our beach house. We took Kylee and Brody to the airport (their flight was a few hours before ours) and then we went to Cancun to do a little more shopping and eat lunch.
Just For Fun Pictures:
A few of the creatures that we saw. The spider was NOT ok with me. Kylee and Brody found it IN our house before we came and they saved it to show us.
And of course.. some of my favorite scenery pictures.
Brad and I are already planning our next trip down there again. We love that place and we had so much fun spending time with my family.
