April

Brad and I went to Vegas with some of our friends the first weekend in April. On Saturday, us girls went to lunch and went shopping while the guys golfed. Then we all met up for dinner, and to the amazing show of Le Reve. Then we got frozen hot chocolate after at Serendipity. On Sunday, we watched some General Conference, did some shopping, went to Joe's for dinner and gambled a little. Then we headed home on Monday morning. It was such a fun little trip, and I'm glad we were able to go.

We got to meet our sweet niece, Aideen. She is so tiny, and I was so happy to finally meet her! We went to Bryce and Ann's after to play a game of rook with them.

Kylee came home for a few days and my mom, Lindsey and I threw her a baby shower. The theme was 'Kylee is about to Hatch' which was perfect since her last name is Hatch and it was around Easter time. I thought everything turned out so perfect! The shower was around brunch time, so we had a yogurt bar, orange rolls and sugar cookies. Kylee got a lot of great stuff and I really cannot wait for that baby boy to get here! Only 11 more weeks! :)

Brody had been in Canada, so Kylee drove to Logan with her friend and her baby on Thursday night. On Friday, I was babysitting Jett and we all went on a walk. That night, we had a cousins party at my parents house. We had dinner and played catch phrase. Saturday was the baby shower, and that night we went to Cam's baseball banquet. Brody flew into Salt Lake on Sunday and we all went to my Grandparents for dinner and then played games after at my parents. Brad left for Texas on Monday morning, and then the Bundy's came over for lunch before Kylee and Brody (and Kylee's friend) left to go home. It was fun to have them here, even if it was only a few days.

I went to my Grandma's house with my mom to help her tie Cam's t-shirt quilt.
Swinging with sweet Lydia one afternoon.
We went to dinner with the Galvins one last time. We we went to Beehive Grill for our first time.
Mariana and I went to Noodles and Co. for dinner before I left. It was fun to see her and get caught up on her new married life.
And.. Kristina had her baby the weekend before I left so I got to go see her. Baby Brooklyn is just as sweet and cute as can be and I was glad I got to see her before I left.

My mom and I coincidentally wore matching dresses on Easter Sunday. That night, we went to the Skeen's for dinner, some games and to sit by the fire. Oh, and we also got to feed their new baby lambs!

I drove to Lubbock, TX with the Eliason's on April 21. Nick decided to just drive through the night, so the drive went quick, and the girls were great in the car. I decided to go with them instead of Brad so that I could stay and nanny for a few more weeks... since we had originally planned on leaving the beginning of May. But we decided last minute to just go back with Nick when he came home for Easter. So it really only ended up being a week later, but it all worked out great anyways. Texas has been good, but super windy lately. And don't worry, we've already enjoyed quite a few Bahama Bucks.

And here is a little tour of our apartment. (These are different apartments than last years)

We went to the Children's Museum yesterday and they had a penguin exhibit. It wasn't as cool as we thought it was going to be, unfortunately. But we did get to see real penguins through the glass. It's weird being back in the same city as last year, doing the same things, but it is also nice to already know what there is to do and to know where everything is. We got a season pass this year since we only have to go three times to make it worth it.
