St. Patty's

On Thursday night, we invited a bunch of friends over to my parents house for the USU game and everyone brought green treats since it was also St. Patrick's Day. We had sprite & green sherbet, green caramel popcorn, green cookies, Mt. Dew, and yellow oreos (since green could not be found anywhere). We were all very sad when USU lost by just about five points. If they would have played like they were in the last ten minutes of the game, they could have won. We had to bring out all of the love sacks so that everybody would have a seat, and there still was not enough room, since two more showed up after this picture. I was pretty excited when I found my green and navy shirt- perfect for the
Aggie game and for St. Patrick's Day.

We went to Crystal Hot Springs Last night. I would suggest to everyone not to go there on a friday night. It was very crowded. But we still had fun. Until we were on our way home... Flat Tire! There was not much room on the side of the road to pull over, so luckily it was on the right side of the car so that the boys were not in the middle of the road trying to fix it. What a handy boy I have. I am glad he knew what he was doing! A guy stopped to help us, and he was so nice- he even looked like Santa Clause. :)

I couldn't stand not putting this picture up. Look at that beauty! This is at my parents house. They get so much more snow then we do. I'm a little sad it is all disappearing, but I am so excited for it to start warming up!
And of course I couldn't do a post without posting a picture of a baby! :) This you have to watch. It almost made me cry. It is hilarious!

Since you've been gone

Alright, so I guess I've had a little too much time on my hands this past week and I spent a few hours trying to figure out a new editing program. We went snowshoeing with my parents, Trace, Jamie and Ryan one Saturday. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!

Brad's birthday was on a sunday so I got up early, made him french toast with special syrup, then we went to church. We had our home teachers over and I made brad his request of chicken roll-ups and then we went to my parents. Brad watched TV/took a nap while my mom and I made his request of costa vida sweet pork burritos and better than anything cake. The Bundys came over as well. We ate, played who knows Brad best (Lindsey won!- not counting my mom), opened presents and had cake. I gave him a wii, but we decided to return it and are gonna put the money towards a new flat screen. My mom gave him a game for the Wii (but we exchanged it for a PS2 one), the movie inception, and a head lamp. I think he was pretty spoiled! It was a great day.

So, as you all probably know.. Brad has been in Florida since monday selling alarms for spring break. I've been so sad without him, but I have kept myself very busy. I worked everyday for about 6 hours, I have done all of our returns from the wedding. We got in store credit for just about everything we returned, and look at all of those cards! I counted them all up and it is over $800. WOW!!
Ok- a few of them were from Christmas and apx parties, but still! The nordstrom one is a good story. We went to Provo a couple weeks ago for an apx party and there were about 8 prizes, and 50+ people there. Brad and I both won something AND were in the final 2 for another. I got the $100 nordstrom for sliding my phone closest to a bottle without hitting it and Brad won a gift card to a hat place for winning rock-paper-scissors. It was a great night!

I've really tried to finish my thank-you cards.. but I am only about half way. I guess Brad will have to help me with them when he gets home.

And.. my wedding scrapbook. I still have 7 more pages to do, but considering I have done 13 pages, that is pretty good. Hopefully I can finish that today and tomorrow.
